Description
Motus is seeking for enthusiastic and motivated Level 1 Apprentice to join our team at Kia Germiston. This entry-level position focuses on providing hands-on training and exposure to various aspects of automotive service and repair within a professional environment. You will learn to assist skilled technicians while developing your technical and customer service skills.
Location: Germiston, South Africa
Responsibilities
•Ensure a clean and organized work environment in the workshop.
•Gain hands-on experience with automotive tools and equipment.
•Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers.
•Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
•Learn to diagnose vehicle issues and assist with repairs under supervision.
•Assist experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles.
•Contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere by sharing knowledge and best practices.
•Support the team with administrative tasks, including keeping service records and inventory management.
Requirements
•Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•A matriculation certificate or equivalent qualification.
•Demonstrable passion for the automotive industry and eagerness to learn.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
•Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance is a plus.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Advantageous
•Valid driver’s license.
•Previous experience or exposure in an automotive workshop setting.
•Relevant vocational training or coursework in automotive technology.
