Location: Pretoria, South Africa
Salary: R228 321 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of service benefits
Requirements
•Grade 12 certificate with accounting as one of the passed subjects.
Knowledge
•Ability to collect statistics
•Knowledge of clerical duties and practices
•Ability to capture data and operate a computer
•Basic knowledge of Public Service financial legislations (PFMA, DORA, PSA, PSR, PPPFA).
Duties
•Handle petty cash
•Handle routine enquiries
•Update registers and statistics
•Type letters and correspondence
•Maintain a leave register for the component
•Ensure that documents are easily retrievable
•Maintain personnel records in the component
•Make photocopies and receive/send facsimiles
•Obtain quotations and complete procurement forms
•Keep and maintain the asset register of the unit
•Keep and maintain the filing system for the component
•Establish and update a secure compliance filling system
•Archive reports, policy documents, and compliance evidence
•Maintain an audit trail for key compliance events and decisions
•Record, organise, store, capture, and retrieve correspondence/data
•Distribute documents/packages to various stakeholders as required
•Keep and maintain the incoming and outgoing document register
•Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement
