Description

The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) invites unemployed youth to apply for the following Government entry level for Registrar’s Clerk.

Location: Land Court: Randburg
Salary: R237 453 – R279 708.per annum (Level 5)
Requirements: Grade 12/ Senior Certificate. No experience required.
Advantageous: A valid driver’s license will serve as added advantage

Duties

Record documents received.

Render case management duties.

Draw up files for the litigants/Attorney.

Safe-keep and dispose of case records.

Submit leave forms to HR for compliance.

Ensure systematically recording of Court files.

Update the file of return service/s proof services.

Attend to case management and set down notice.

Prepare and sign performance agreement timeously.

Maintain and keep all registers for filing and archiving.

Comply with the telephone prescripts and leave policies.

Attend to queries from parties and members of the public.

Keep record of requests received from litigants.

Monitor files and records as per the case Management.

Ensure that the files have been served to all parties concerned.

Retrieve the requested file and make the file available to the requester.

Register/ allocate case numbers to all pleadings and Court documents received.

Implement case management practices (placing request forms in the space of a file that has been requested, complete and file the movement sheet).
