Department of Tourism invites unemployed youth to apply for the following Government entry level Jobs / Positions Supply Chain Clerk Demand and Logistics Management.

Position Title: Supply Chain Clerk: Demand and Logistics Management
Location: Pretoria

Salary: R237 453 per annum (Level 05), excluding service benefits
Job Level: Grade 12 / Junior / Entry level SA Government Jobs

Key Responsibilities

Filing the SLAs of contracts.

Checking the correctness of CDS report.

Checking the validity of the quotation.

Providing feedback to the internal client.

Updating of the departmental contract register.

Receiving and recording request for quotations.

Receiving and updating quotations on the register.

Publishing results/awards of RFQ’s on E-portal.

Sending documents to supervisor for verification.

Updating finance lease register and provide report.

Compiling monthly reports on RFQ’s /RFPs timely.

Updating the request for quotation progress register.

Updating the progress and status on RFQ’s/RFQ’s.

Evaluating quotations received and compile valuation report.

Updating register for contracts and provide report.

Submitting procurement documents for review and verification.

Compiling comparative schedule and submit for review.

Following up with end users on approval of procurement documents.

Updating register for transversal contracts and provide report.

Providing support and guide end users on acquiring finance leases.

Ensuring that the SBD1 and SBD4 are completed and signed by the bidder.

Verifying compliance of the supplier on the procurement documents received.

Checking compliance on Tax status of suppliers and verified banking details.

Checking the Directors of the service providers are not employed by the state.

Printing invitations and request from selected service providers by sending RFQ’s.

Attending to queries daily from internal and external client either telephonically or by email.

Recording and sending procurement documents for approval to internal users/delegates for signatures.

Maintaining filing of valid BEE certificate or sworn affidavit for the awarded service providers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing quotations on CSD and E- portal from service providers.

Minimum Requirements

No Experience required.

Diploma or Degree will be Advantageous.

Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate.
