Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

Salary: R237 453 per annum (Level 05), (excluding benefits)

Key Duties

•Manage the unit payment register

•Administer petty cash for the office

•Liaise with customers and suppliers

•Track creditors payments on tracking system

•Process payments of service providers for the unit

•Help with the compilation of the regional budget

•Capture S&T and cell phone claims on PERSAL and BAS

•Print and distribute expenditure reports to managers

•Submit certified payroll to Head Office on a monthly basis

•Verify availability of funds and recommend approval of expenditure

•Distribute finance-related policies and circulars to officials

•Receive claims/invoices and check correctness for Director approval

Minimum Requirements

•Basic numeracy skills

•Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

•Good analytical, planning and organizing skills

•Good communication skills (verbal and written)

•Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

•Competency in acting Independently, Professionally, and Accountable

Technical Knowledge

•Knowledge of Public Finance

•Knowledge of PERSAL, BAS and LOGIS systems

•Financial Accounting (Creditors payments, Cellphone and S&T allowances)
