Description
This Learnership trains you to package products using automated packaging equipment while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards. You will develop business understanding, mechanical maintenance skills, and effective communication for line coordination and operation.
Location: Boksburg, South Africa
Minimum Requirements
•A National Senior Certificate (Grade 12 / Matric) with a pass in Mathematics and Science is required, Or an N2/N3/N4 Engineering qualification
Duties
•Prepare and check raw materials for production use.
•Maintain personal and team safety on the production line.
•Perform general line operations and cleaning activities as per operational plans.
•Actively contribute to an eco-efficient and sustainable work environment.
•Clean machinery according to manufacturer’s guidelines and site specifications.
•Monitor product and packaging quality against set standards; report any faults promptly.
•Detect process abnormalities and take immediate corrective action to prevent escalation.
•Conduct pre-start-up checks to confirm equipment and area cleanliness and safety in line with SOPs.
•Comply with all learnership requirements, including assessments, logbook completion, and assignments.
