Description

This Learnership Programme trains you to package products using automated packaging equipment while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards. You will develop business understanding, mechanical maintenance skills, and effective communication for line coordination and operation.

Location: Maydon Wharf Factory, Durban, South Africa

Key Responsibilities

Conduct pre-start-up checks in line with SOPs
Prepare and check raw materials for production use
Perform general line operations and cleaning activities
Maintain personal and team safety on the production line
Monitor product and packaging quality; report faults promptly
Comply with all learnership requirements including assessments
Detect process abnormalities and take immediate corrective action
Actively contribute to an eco-efficient and sustainable work environment
Clean machinery according to manufacturer’s guidelines and site specifications

Required Qualifications

Grade 12 with a pass in Mathematics and Science
OR N2/N3/N4 Engineering qualification
